Leading through Learning

Sweet Spot

Helping leaders set strategy, and organizational change.

How do you balance competition and cooperation with other business coaches?

I believe there is enough work out there for all of us. I come from abundance rather than scarcity. The right matches are there for each of us…now and again, maybe later.

How would you like to contribute to that change?

I’m doing it in the work I do every day.

What do you feel needs to change in the business coaching profession as a whole?

Coaches need to bring discussions about integrity into the contract.

What area of expertise do you enjoy sharing with others?

Leadership development with a focus on cultural diversity…organizational culture, differences in ethnic origin, diversity of thought, diversity in general.

What is your primary belief about creating success and abundance?

My primary belief is that success and abundance are available to any of us at any time we choose it. We may have different definitions of what success and abundance mean yet we all know “what” it is.

What does leadership mean to you?

I practice inclusive leadership. That means simply that I seek the input of those around me and act upon the findings for the good of the client.

Who is your target market?

mid to large businesses

What do you most wish to gain from spending time with successful business coaches?

New friends, new techniques, new opportunities. I promise the same.

How would you sum up your mission as a business coach?

The primary responsibility is to partner with the client to help them find their own path in growing and building themselves and their business. This growth is system-wide and touches every aspect of their lives.

What kinds of collaborations and co-creations with other coaches appeal to you?

I love supporting the growth of coaches. I currently provide mentor coaching for ICF Chapter Presidents all over the world and enjoy helping chapters grow. I’ve served as President Elect for the Washington,DC Metro Chapter and Founder and President of the Hyderabad Professional Coaches Assn in Hyderabad, India.

How do you believe you could add most value to a community of business coaches?

I have been a consultant and executive coach Fortune 500 companies for over 30 years and wouldn’t change it for anything. Recently I returned from 4 years in Hyderabad, India where I managed the leadership development efforts for 5600 senior leaders and their teams (53,000 employees world-wide, including executive coaching, mentoring, diversity and all non-technical programs. While there I developed an internal professional coach certification course, aligned with the International Coach Federation Core Competencies and was founder and first President of the Hyderabad Professional Coaches Assn…the largest professional coaching association in India.
